Cannot open .dxf file created in LibreCAD

Can anyone explain why I can't open a file that was created and saved in LibreCAD?  Pretty crappy, since I had put a lot of effort into the file.  I get this bogus message about checking it's existence and permissions.

Try opening it in a different way, from within LibreCAD, Recent files often works.
