Command translation

morodan
It seems I'm not the first one to ask this or something alike:
http://forum.librecad.org/command-translations-tp5712978.html
http://forum.librecad.org/Menu-language-changes-command-language-tp5707436.html
http://forum.librecad.org/Brazilian-Portuguese-Translation-tp5709045p5709055.html

(and maybe more... I searched the forums for the words "command translat" and choose some discussions)

But there seems not to be a clear and unambiguous answer... At least I didn't find one! If there is, please point me to it.

Otherwise:
What is it intended to be: do we need to TRANSLATE the librecad commands, or not?

Not an easy one...
What would then be the short form of the translated command?
How is this in other CAD software?

When the decision is taken, could it be possible to write it down in https://wiki.librecad.org/index.php?title=Using_the_LibreCAD_Translation_Server ?

Cheers,
Dan

Re: Command translation

Ok, I've seen that under "options - application preferences - appearance - language" there is a dropdown list for "GUI language" and one for "command language".
My guess: commands can (have to) be translated.
Cheers,
Dan

Re: Command translation

More to this: I decided to use the same command translation as AutoCAD, if applicable, using one of the many dictionaries found on the web.
