Crash OSX 10.9.5

Glenwf
Latest version (LibreCad 2.0.7) crashes when run on PowerBook Pro,  OSX 10.9.5.  I didn't even get the program open, just a crash report.

Had to delete it and go back to LibreCad 2.0.5 which works great now.

Please let me know whether the Mountain Lion installer works for you.

Thanks!

The 2.0.7 Mavericks dmg package works for me on Mac Mini, OSX 10.9.5.
investing less than half an hour into Search function can save hours or days of waiting for a solution

sorry, I meant the Mavericks version indeed.

The trouble:

if I use qt5-mac from MacPorts, the generated DMG crashes. The working version is by manually installed Qt-5.4.0.

Re: Crash OSX 10.9.5

The installation package I used that didn't work.
from:  http://sourceforge.net/projects/librecad/files/
Used this:
Looking for the latest version? Download LibreCAD-2.0.7-Mavericks.dmg (25.0 MB)

Not sure what you are saying, am I supposed to use another way to install it.  It seemed to be a ready to install package without using any other installer methods, which I've tried and seem to be beyond me.  The instructions are for programmers and I don't understand them.

can you download and try again?

I updated the DMG file.

Thanks for renewing that file.  It made a difference.

Now I can play with the new features.

Thanks again.

uploaded a LibreCAD-2.0.7.dmg, which works for both 10.8 and 10.9, and hopefully 10.10 (which I don't have one to test)

I have  OS X 10.10.1 and LibreCAD 2.0.7. It crashes anytime you save a preference.

Re: Crash OSX 10.9.5

I don't have access to 10.10.

Some random guess:

1, quit all LibreCAD instances, find a way to remove old preference files on disk, and start LibreCAD again. ( to locate the files on disk: http://doc.qt.io/qt-5/qsettings.html#locations-where-application-settings-are-stored

2, test librecad-2.0.7 by MacPorts and by installers. Try the other, if you only tested one of them.

The MacPorts build did the trick. Thanks for the suggestion.
