DockWidget and snap points

Ira
I am a new LibreCAD user and I have two questions.

1.   When I go into DockWidgets and select cmd line and layers they appear at once.  However, every time I close, and later reopen my drawing these DockWidgets are gone and I have to go to call them up all over again. Is there any way to save their state so a saved or new document has cmd line and layers visible from the start?

2.  I would like to see the various object snaps (end, middle, intersection, etc.) on screen. I believe this is the way it is with DraftSight. It seems I have to hunt around a lot with the cursor to find some of them.

1. I think you have the right dock area hidden. Widgets->Dock Areas->Right

2. I recommend adding your favorite snap modes to a custom menu,
and assign it to Ctrl or Shift + Right-Click

Perfect. I had indeed hidden the dock area. Now it is fine again.

With regard to the snaps, I am happy to leave all snaps but grid, active most of the time. But, I would like to see the snap points show up on the screen. For example, a circle would have 5 markers, one for the circle's center, and 4 for its quadrants.  Then I could locate a quadrant point more easily without having to zoom in to see the cursor "snap" to position.
