Getting the length of wildly drawn line, with just the mouse clicks?

keghn
I am drawing and measuring origami and kirigami folds. I can print the measurement to the line but is there
a way to copy values with the mouse and then past them into my text notes or into my web calculator?

You can not copy and paste the value of a dimensioning line.
But you can select a line and mark, copy and paste the indicated 'selected total length'.

If it's a polyline of several elements you will have to measure with the measuring tool ( for instance 'point to point' with snap to endpoints on ) and mark, copy and paste from the command line.

Thanks @dellus. I see it now  there at the bottom. It is really fine print on my 16 inch laptop screen.
I will look for a way to make printed values larger?

Do you mean in the 'status bar' (that bottom tab)? You can play with the settings in 'Options' - 'Widget options'.
If you mean in dimension lines, that's more complicated.

Yes the measurement of the selected line. That is  not in the drawing but in gray area under the drawing.
May be one day i can left click on it and be give the option of changing the size.

 From my notes.
I can change the viewing size of values in the drawing:
