How to select one object and print at a scale of 1:1

Octavius
Hi folks,

Say you have a large dxf file.
Say you need to print a part of that file at 1:1 scale.
How is that done?

I have selected an object,  moved it to another layer and then tried printing it at 1:1 (using the printer software) but all I get is a blank sheet of paper coming out of the printer.

Thanks!

Try changing the paper setting in Current Drawing Preferences.

Ravas,
Thanks for the reply.
I tried the Current Drawing Preferences but to no avail.
It seems there is no option to select one part of a drawing and print just that part.  Or am I missing something?
Thanks

first, you can choose scale 1:1 and fixed in printpreview

second, you can drag to select portion to print in printpreview; if you want accurate control, you may also type in offset in the command line:

10, 0

10, 0 will offset the printpreview by 10 in the x-direction. If you want to offset in paper space, type in the command "paperoffset"

as usual, type "help" for information.
