Libre cad crashes

weschgro
Hi all,

As a carpenter I use librecad (which I love) to drawn small personal projects.
Unfortunately it crashes a lot.

here is the last log (I just opened the file and zoomed in and out a few times before it freezes, had to kill it) :

$ librecad 'Cabane.dxf'
RS_DEBUG::setLevel(3)
RS_DEBUG: Critical
RS_DEBUG: Errors
RS_DEBUG: Warnings
RS_FilterDXF::addLayer: layer 0 have extended data
RS_FilterDXF::addLayer: layer 0 is construction layer
^C

thanks for your help.

Cheers

Benoit

Re: Libre cad crashes

dellus
No problem for me with 2.1.2 on Ubuntu 18.04 (Puppy Linux derivative).
"RS_FilterDXF::addLayer: layer 0 have extended data
RS_FilterDXF::addLayer: layer 0 is construction layer" - Layer 0 set as construction layer? If so try switching off.
File of foreign origin? Or contains elements of foreign origin?
Has been opened and saved again in different CAD?
Zooming in and out too furiously? Might confuse and lock up LC.
Maybe the reason is outside of LC.

Sorry for not being able to help more.
