LibreCAD and WGS84

brookland
Is it possible to set the coordinates to use the WGS84 standard so they match with the Earth's coordinates?

I use kml files that I convert to dwf files to edit in LibreCad. It works for me, except the distances and scale are way off.

I'd like to be able to do things like take a line I imported in that shows the edge of a river, and offset another line 150' away. And, I'd like to draft the position of two buildings and do things like measure the distance between them.

You might consider using GQIS for this kind of work.
