Object Moving With Arrow Keys

ab-tools
Hello,

I'm a relatively new user to LibreCAD, but I really like the program.

One thing I'm missing a lot is the option to move objects with the keyboard arrow keys "the last pixels":
after I moved the object to more or less the right position by mouse I want to move the very last "pixels" one-by-one via the arrow keys on the keyboard as it's basically impossible to accomplish that using the mouse.

There would just need to be a program setting where you can enter the resolution (like 1 mm or 0.1 mm) that you're currently working with and then one key press is moving the object by this resolution.

Is there a way already to accomplish this?

Best regards and thanks for this great program

Movement by snap points should be a good way to move entities precisely.

try to play with snapping to: grids, intersections, end points, center points

in addition, coordinates can be input from the command line

Hello dxli,

first thanks for your quick reply.

I indeed tested the snapping options, but this did not work for me due to a bug obviously - see my post here:

Does that work for you?

Best regards
Andreas
