Tangent 2 Circles, Radius - How does it work?

sashman
Hi,

I have two circles and want to draw another circle with given radius which is positioned tangent to the existing two circle. I suppose that is what the command button "Tangent 2 Circles, Radius" (translated from german, sorry if the english wording is slightly different) should do, right?

What I do is, hit the button and select the first circle. That circle changes its color and LibreCad prompts me to select the next circle, line or arc, but no matter what circle, line or arc I try to select nothing happens.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,
Sascha

It looks like it's broken.

Correction... you need to increase the radius before selecting the 2nd.

Oh no! I would really need that feature...

Tough luck I gues. Just for information: I previously installed 2.0.11 which didn't work either...

Oh...that makes sense. I didn't notice the option in the toolbar.

Thanks for the quick help.

It would probably help to give some feedback,
informing the user that the circle of the given radius does not exist.

Yes, that would help a lot. At least the novice user would know what to do.
