Text size for dimensions

procer
Hello, I don't know if it's a feature or not, but is it possible to change the size of the text in a dimension?
I'm working with some small models, so basically once I've laid out the dimensions it's just a huge clutter of numbers.

Trying: modify>text> *click on dimension*
a pop-up titled linear dimensions comes up where one can enter text, but there's no size option.

my version is 1.02

Hi procer

"Edit->Current drawing preferences"

select "Dimensions" Tab and change
"Text Height", "Arrow size", etc.

Hi procer,

Modify>explode the dimensions.
Modify>Properties and select the text.
now you can modify just the text in the dimension.

This is because a drawing could contain multiple text sizes.

To rallaz,

Is it possible to make the arrow as an object (a hatched triangle) after executing above procedure?
This because sometimes i just want to scale it off manually.

For my, this is a bad idea, without exploding dimensions if you
modify "Current drawing preferences" all the dimensions are
changed automatically. Exploding it you have to change one to one

A drawing can contain multiple text sizes. But only one dimensions text size.
in a near future will be implemented dimension styles and may have
dimensions with different text size without having to exploit

the arrow is a TRACE entity, and have a poor support, at this momment, the best option is select,
draw lines arround using "end point" snap, then "supr" the trace and add a hatch.

Hi,
I'd like to change dimension manualy. For ex., if I've got 39.999, i't like to change it to 40 manualy, neverteless what librecad shows.

thanks

Hi mmar,

if you want have 40 instead of 39.999, you can play with precision.

Go to main menu, Edit -> Current drawing preferences-> Units

set precision there for length and angle, for example: choose "0" instead of "0.000"
