Tool Info to measure size of objects not working

Frank Bedford
Hey all,

I cannot seem to get the Info Drawing Tool, point-to-point to work. I set the first point, and set the second point, but the measurement does not appear. and the control panel goes back to "set first point of distance."

I use a MacBook Air, M1. Could the Mac keyboard and trackpad (no mouse) have something to do with this?

Thanks!

The info is printed out to the Command Line tool.

To show the command line widget, try menu:

Widgets > Dock Widgets > Command Line

For point to point measurement, you may also click on one point to set relative zero, then, find the measurement of the second point from the coordinate tool (by the relative coordinates displayed).

The measuring result appear in the command output window.
Check in menu Widgets -> Dock Widgets if Cmd is checked. This is the widget with command line and its output window.

See https://librecad.readthedocs.io/en/latest/guides/cmdline.html?highlight=history#the-command-line
investing less than half an hour into Search function can save hours or days of waiting for a solution
