difficulty with circle snap

freemjo
I can not get a circle to snap to a line at anything other than the circle's center, or the 45, 135, 225, or 315 degree points on the circumference. I've tried a lot of things, but now have to leave. If anyone can help me, I'd appreciate it. I'm so used to AutoCAD, I can't seem to reboot my brain.
Thanks in advance.

I am not sure what you want to achieve or the problem is. If you have "Snap Middle" on and set "Middle Points" to more than 1 in the Tool Options bar above the drawing area, you get more snapping points.
