learning CAD

DerekvG
I've been using graphics programs before but using CAD seems somewhat different, and Im a complete newbee at CAD drwaing  most CAD seems to revolve arounf 3D  but I only need to work in 2D.
Could peolpe point in the right direction  for tutorials that allow me to learn how to make electric wiring diagrams in 2D.
I need elements like lamps, switches, fuses, connectors etc,  which i expect to find in an add-n  library  like in de diagramming software I currently use  ( tip where i can find them and how to import the library might be helpfull
the main reason I abandon the diagramming software is because I can draw wires between elements in a single colour only and I need to draw  wires (connecting elements)  in two colours and in 3 different sizes ( the 4th and 5th size are single colour),  is there a library, or can I make one myself ?
