Dimension LABEL blank

Executing a dimension action produces the expected "dimension line", "extension lines", "arrowheads" and etc. However the value of the dimension itself, is absent. There is simply an empty box in its place.

Searching this Forum has produced solutions involving the Draft ON/OFF feature and the height, in pixels, of the dimension value.  These solutions didn't work in my case.
 
My LibreCad Version is 2.2.0-A, Compiler is GNU GCC 12.2.0, compiled on Dec 26,2022, Qt 5.15.8, Boost 1.74.0

My Operating System is Chrome Version 136.0.7103.102 (Official Build)(64 bit) installed on an Acer
