Is this the best way to join many lines?

After reading the forum I find that "create polyline from existing segments is the only way to join many lines into a single polyline. The porblem with this is that I have to run this command repeatedly to get all the lines in the document joined. Is there a way to run this recursivelly by its own?

We actually have internal tools to allow connecting all connected lines.

Need a little plumbing is needed to make it a feature.
