Line tools won't retain the entered dimension in the length field

After selecting any of the line tools (vertical line, Horizontal or Angle line) and upon entering a negative dimension in the length field, this field instantly changes to 1.000000 dimension when the mouse curser moves back to the drawing area. It does not retain the entered dimension. Has anyone else experienced this? thanks

it might be that negative dimension was not allowed there and 1.0 was the replacement default value.

In the latest 2.2.2 alpha (https://github.com/LibreCAD/LibreCAD/releases/tag/2.2.2_alpha-latest) I can't see such a behavior...

Yes i wondered about that, however i watched a video of a person being able to insert a negative value to reverse the direction of the line.  I end up switching between Start, and End to change directions.  cheers

Actually i was using 2.2.1.1  I tried the version on your link but it wasn't stable and kept failing.  cheers
