New user - xubuntu 18.04. version 2.2 ?

iain1940
I am a retired computer person starting to experiment with CAD.

I set up ubuntu PPA :

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:librecad-dev/librecad-stable/ubuntu bionic
sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install librecad

installed :

Version: 2.1.2
Compiler: GNU GCC 6.2.0
Compiled on: Sep 17 2016
Qt Version: 5.9.5
Boost Version: 1.62.0
System: Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS

I was expecting version 2.2 ?
does it matter very much

Hi Iain

Could you be tempted to make a public PPA for LibreCAD 2.2? See https://forum.librecad.org/Getting-LibreCAD-2-2-out-to-users-td5719950.html
