Hi Peoples - am using Version: 2.2.0-rc4-23-ge3fae3dc
Compiler: GNU GCC 12.2.0
Compiled on: Nov 4 2022
Qt Version: 5.12.11
Boost Version: 1.75.0
System: Windows 10 (10.0)
... it seems the "ISO" (both for txt & (some) linewidths) is being ignored in Print Preview...
this also appears as ecf in Export to pdf...
Any suggestions please?Sq4221213.pdf
What do you mean with "ISO"?
What is ecf? Sorry, not native English speakers don't know all abbreviations.
Looking at your pdf I imagine it might be an issue of scaling the print. Normally line widths stay as they are regardless of printing scale. In ancient CAD times a real pen was mounted to a plotter. So 0.25 mm stayed 0.25 mm even at 1/100 scale. As your pdf is A4 size I assume the content is scaled down, but not the pen width. If you print at 1/1, full size, it would look all right.
I recommend to print to pdf at full size, with a larger sheet size. Then you can print that pdf onto real paper scaled down.
Alternatively you can set "apply print scale to line width" in Print Preview.
Hi Dellus - thank you for your response.
"ISO" in both text size & linewidth options - as far as I'm concerned implies isometry - that is the size does not change subsequent to any scaling.
"ecf" = Error Carried Forward (accepted parlence in development engineering).
I have tried your suggestions and am fairly certain the problem is resolved, thanks.
