change grid spacing

BobSundquist
I'm Bob, a new user using LibreCAD for home projects such as woodworking and sewing.  The only options I see for grid X and Y spacing are auto, 0.01, 0.1, 1, and 10.  If I want to set the grid (and snap) spacing to 1/8" (for example) how would I do that?

Hello Bob!

Open Options > Current Drawing Preferences, select Units tab, change to Inch.

Propably that is all what is neded

I have found keeping grid spacing automatic is a good thing, but if you need to change those, they are in the next tab.

Thank you, sorry for the dumb question.  I was sure that I had tried changing the spacing in the next tab and it wouldn't take anything but what was in the drop-down list, but it worked today so I missed something there.

Nice!

I don't think there is such thing as 'dump question'.

I instructed to change Current Drawing Preferences, but if you only use inches, set it to Application Preferences too.
