export drawing in svg

odeonseb
Hello all,

I draw a logo on LibreCAD. I would like to get an image as png with transparency.

After exporting with MakerCam svg, the color disappear and the lines are thick.

After exporting as pdf, I don't manage to deal with transparency in Inkscape.

Please someone could tell me how to do?

Thanks

I would import the the pdf into gimp. There you can turn a colour, probably white as the drawing background colour, to transparent. Then save as png.

Or, if you want to stay with Inkscape, import the pdf there, ungroup until you can select the white background exclusively, set it's opacity to zero, then export to png.

Thanks for your answers which I just read. I did some experiments by myself and I finished to use Inkscape, exactly the same way you explained. It worked
