In Application Preferences There is a place where one can specify minimal grid spacing. I have been trying to learn what this does. Regardless of the number entered into this space the grid does not appear to change.
As one who is unfortunately forced to "communicate" in feet and inches, I can see having the ability to set the grid to 12 spaces to a "block" (1 foot} or 8 spaces to a block (1/8") would be mighty useful.
This is slowly changing here but not fast enough to help in my lifetime.
