Open dwg file version 2010

Hi all,

I'm using the latest stable version 2.0.10 on Windows 7.
I understand that opening dwg files is still in development, so I tested a lot of different dwg's.
Most I have are no problem, but while opening some important ones I have, I get:

Opened dwg file version dwg version 2010.
error reading blocks in dwg file
Cannot open the file

Should I try the latest alpha version?

Unfortunately the developer working on that disappeared last year.

Unfortunately I'm no developer

Found a post that mentioned the Teigha file converter.
I think I can use it as a workaround, converting my 2010 files to 2007 format.
