Rallaz
True type fonts are not supported in LibreCAD, only stiky fonts.
If you want to use ttf you can first convert it to lff fonts and add
the path in "Edit->application preferences" tab "paths"

if the fonts are licensed by free software licenses, we would like to include them in the LibreCAD package.

they come from dafont.com, one is donation, so that one is a no no, the other one is free, so that is a go.

i found Rallaz convertion tool ttf2llf but could not do anything with it, tried to run it (Ubuntu 11.10 64b, im a noob) but did nothing at all, tried running it in a terminal (Ctrl+Alt+t) also nothing, found Font Forge (Ubuntu Repositories) but is no longer available, went to the developer web page and tried to download and install but couldnt, so im stuck for the moment, ill keep on trying, let you guy know in a couple of days.

Hi Zhao Zhichao,

You can't run tools.pro

Download ttf2lff-linux-x86_64 form my previous post and run in a console:
ttf2lff input.ttf output.lff

This program is for 64 bits arch.

If you want to compile it then

cd tools/ttf2lff
qmake ttf2lff.pro
make

if you have more questions indicates which is your system and architecture (32 or 64 bits)

I tried converting the google font OpenSans by Steve Mattenson using ttf2lff, but the lower case r is definitely not right, so I'm assuming either I'm doing something wrong or the ttf2lff program isn't working quite right.   I would greatly appreciate if someone could work on converting this to work with LibreCAD and hopefully it could then be included in the next LibreCAD release as it is free to use.
