Align doesn't keep original

I am new to LibreCAD but I have had experience for some 25 years with other two-dimensional CAD programs.

I am using version 2.0.8

I used Modify->Align to move an arrow that I drew to another location at a different angle. The operation worked well but I couldn't get it to keep the original arrow.
After measuring the angle at the new location I had to use Modify->Move and Rotate.

can you upload a dxf file to show the problem you described? I'm quite lost about what is the "arrow" here.
