Anchoring possibilities?

Hi experts, I need to draw some electrical circuits where rectangles are interconnected with lines (representing bundles of cables).  Is it possible to move a single rectangle during the project and have the lines connected to it remain attached to it and therefore atomatically lengthen or shorten in relation to the other rectangles that remain in place?  Thank you in advance, kind regards, Mike

Since we don't have a constraint system, direct dragging the rectangles won't modify the connecting lines.

Possible workaround:

drag the rectangle; drag the broken line end point to match the movement.

It really shows the benefit of adding a constraint solver.

Try Tools - Modify - Stretch. When asked for first corner and second corner define a window around the rectangle, specify reference point and then target point. Might not work for all drawing situations.

KiCAD does what you need. It's basically for PCB design, but the schema editor for electronic diagram can do this.
There also may be other electric CAx software which can handle that easier than LibreCAD.
