| Hey,
unfortunately we don't have CAM capabilities. Cam in QCAD is a payed add-on and was relative simple, not as advanced as the well know's CamBam and V-Carve system, more like simple tool paths.
That said, we didn't drop it (I for sure would have used it for my Mechmate).
Knowledge of the day: The fork of QCad started because I wanted to have CAM, I just never had the time to finnish it (I currently only have some dialogs, how sad...)

Hello forum :)
I have been searching for a CAM/gcode generator for Linux and found several posts referring to LibreCAD.
To my delight, I see that LibreCAD is a fork of QCAD which I bought years ago for a project.
I couldn't believe my luck, but it seems I was too hasty; I can't find CAM capabilities in LibreCAD anywhere.
I found some unanswered post asking the same on the forum, and I've found a plugin on github that doesn't compile.
So am I missing something or was CAM dropped from LibreCAD?
Thanks in advance :)
Regards,
Claws
