Can't find the objects in my previously saved drawings ?

Hello everyone - This is my first post here, I'm hoping you can solve a few issues for me - Could someone here explain why I'm getting a blank page when I open a drawing previously saved as a dxf ? I can see that it is a 58 kb file, but when I open it, I get a blank screen. I have a feeling that I'm somehow not showing the origin on my screen, and that the object of my drawing is out of the viewing range - hope I described that correctly. Could someone point me to where I need to go to figure this out ? Or explain what's happening ? Thanks in advance -

Try View - Auto Zoom or doubleclick on middle mouse button.

Try Tools - Select - Select All to see if there is something very small.
