"Create Polyline from Existing Segments" Usage

Hi,

I'm trying to create a closed polyline built up from different parts.

I can see the "Create Polyline from Existing Segments" command, but I
can't seem to get it to work. When I select the command I try selecting
lines and polylines, but nothing happens. It just keeps on displaying
"Choose one of the segments on the original polyline" in the command line.

Could someone please provide me of a step-by-step example of how to use
this command? I would be very grateful.

nvm. I think I figured it out.

(draw parts separately with endpoints matching, and then the command will close the shape for you)
