DXF files in Librecad Wiki?

Wiki-manual: is it possible to allow DXF file upload? If yes we could collect example DXF files there.

Hi Ferdi, no this is not possible due to wiki limitations.

I am quite sure this is a setting in mediawiki which the admin may change easily.

Perhaps we could attach files as "file.dxf.jpg" or "file.dxf.txt" or "file.txt" and ask the user to rename them after download.

please try again and see if you can upload dxf files.

The problem with wikipedia is that it’s designed by script kiddies that hacked together a wiki without a proper administration console.

You need to hack PHP files to get something working, it’s terrible that in 2014 you need to edit a PHP file on a life system to get something enabled.

Unfortunately for me, I was the one that picked out media wiki, and I regret that decision every day...

My attempt to upload *.dxf results in:
"File extension ".dxf" does not match the detected MIME type of the file (text/plain)."
I assume that mediawiki believes DXF should be an image format not text/plain.

When I try *.dxf.txt it says:
"Permitted file types: png, gif, jpg, jpeg, dxf, dwg."
I was wrong in my assumption that text files would defaultly be allowed.
