"Edit"...Really?

I am a brand new user.  I go to the manual and right off it says under  CHANGING PROGRAM AND DRAWING SETINGS... "First click on Edit...
Then select Application

Well, it doesn't work.  I think it should say "first click on Application.
Right?

I am not of to a very good start with the manual.  

The manuals are not quite up to date, some things have changed meanwhile. Program and drawing settings are under "Options" now. But with a little searching and good will everything can be found. Maybe some day Pliny will rework the manual.

and I've honestly never read the manual.

The manual will be a project for someone else;
although, I did just edit the part related to this topic.
The original author does not appear to be
an active community member currently.
