GUI Development

Hey Guys and perhaps Girls,

I wanted to help to Develop the GUI, but i am not a programmer..
I am an Architecture student and working for the chair of Computer Aided Architectural Design at the RWTH Aachen University, so i am quite experienced with CAD software.
And as a Antrophil i would really like to help to get this piece of software good, usable and most important: better then the closed source one.
So please post if you know, to which people i should talk to and how i can participate ( again it shall be mentioned that i dont have a lot of programming knowledge).
