Grid Properties

billyboy
Hello LibreCAD users, this is my first time on the forum. I have some previous experience with CAD, but
this is my first time with LibreCAD.

I have searched all over the place to find out if there is a way to change grid properties. Specifically, I would like to change the grid's line width and color. So far, I'm not having any luck.

My reason for this is that I'm having trouble seeing the grid on a white background.

Here is my configuration:

LibreCAD:
Version: 2.2.0-rc3-24-g4602ec6a
Compiler: GNU GCC 7.3.0
Compiled on: Mar  5 2022
Qt Version: 5.12.4
Boost Version: 1.65.1
System: Windows 10 (10.0)

Windows:
Edition Windows 11 Pro
Version 22H2
Installed on ‎2022-‎05-‎12
OS build 22621.1
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22632.1000.0

Hardware:
Dell G7 7500 laptop
Processor: Intel i9 CPU, 8 Cores, 16 Logical Processors
RAM: 64GB
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070, 8 GB video RAM

Thanks,
Bill

Grid colour is found under Options -> Application Preferences, Appearance tab in the "Graphic Colors" section.  There is no  grid's line width option.

Thanks very much, Gary S, your advice sent me in the right direction.  I changed the grid colour to blue, which contrasts better with white, and it works. I now see that there is no need to change the grid width, the built-in width is just fine. It was really a matter of contrast, not line width. Bill
