Hello! I'm a New User!

I found librecad a short while ago.
I have just installed it and will have a poke around in it and see how I can use it.
I trained in cad many years ago in autocad, mcd douglas system, robocad, turbocad and (shock horror) have used Visio mostly for quite a while for low quality drawings.

ideally I want to replace Visio with FOSS tools so I am exploring libreoffice draw and now libre cad.

any affiliation with libre office ?  this would make a nice adjunct to libre office!

no, we are not part of the libreoffice suite.
