Hello from Colorado/USA

I figured Colorado alone was presumptive.  I try to make up for my presumptions elsewhere!  It's a balance.

New Cad user.  Slight  exposure over the years (that's not the same as experience).

Currently failing in learning to use the Modify menu items/command line/icons.
To me that seems a critical requirement.

I can select an item, select thefunction, but rarely get the function/pop up box to appear.
If I type something (single digit number for example) then enter I get the box.
I am sure there is something I don't understand.
I have been working off of the youtube tutorials by TheReimber.

Hmm..listened to the tutorial again -- seems all I needed to do is select the lines to move/rotate, then press enter.
Clever.....
