I need to place a linear row of equidistant circles between two reference points (e.g. 17 entities on a line of 100 mm lenght). Is there any smart way how to do this?
Activate "snap middle". A new tab "middle points: x " will appear. Set the number you want, endpoints of the line don't count. Place the first circle at the beginning of the line if you need that (a) or at the first snap-point (b). Then copy the circle with reference point at beginning of line and insertion at first "middle point" (a) or with reference point center of circle to insertion point at next "middle point"(b), and set the appropriate number of multiple copies you need. You will be asked for that in the process of move/copy.
So you can't do it in one step.
