Hi, I spent many years learning my trade in a drawing office, doing drawings funnily enough, I left engineering just as cad systems were becoming "the thing". I armed myself with a copy of Tommy caddraw which I became quite good at as it was simple and intuitive.
Move on 20 years and suddenly an old school engineer, like myself, is suddenly in demand as a prototype development engineer. I need to produce many drawings and have been doing them in a very old copy of MGI photsuite. I need to relearn 2D cad and am finding it an uphill task, TCdraw has not been available for years and I am giving Librecad a try ....I will be asking questions.
