Import image in AutoCAD

Tomda
Hi all,
I'm working on a project where I have some scans I needed to re-draw in LibreCAD. But I need to send my drawings to someone working on AutoCAD. When I send him my .dxf files from LibreCAD, he can see my drawings with all the layers, but he can't see the original scan (a jpeg image). Is there a way to link the image as an external ressource so I can see it in AutoCAD ?

Thanks in advance !

When an image is inserted in LibreCAD, it's always as an external resource, it's not within the dxf-file. So just send the image file together with the dxf, the recipient should place them in the same folder. It may be helpful if you have them in the same folder also. Just try it, I don't have AutoCAD available to test, but it works for me with NanoCAD, which is a kind of AutoCAD clone.
