In Line Properties add display of length and angle

I find myself frequently wanting to check the length of a line, and occasionally it's angle.  The current Property dialog box could easily include this information, from the values displayed, saving me the trouble.

Also, for a polyline would be helpful to display the same for the polyline segment clicked on.

Does the status bar help?

The status bar shows the total length of currently selected lines.  No angle  is shown for the selected line or polyline segment.  As the status bar only shows the total length it would be easier to use if a "right mouse click" would un-select all objects (when the "Selection pointer" is active).

It seems to me that when asking for the "properties" of a line or polyline segment, one should be able to quickly see the length and angle.
 
An ease of use feature for the "properties" tool would be for the "property" dialog box to update upon a left mouse click on any object outside the property dialog box itself.
