Insert text in greek language

i  try to insert text in greek language but nothing happens . i want the help of community

Which LibreCAD version do you use?
What have you tried so far?
What does not happen?
Maybe a sample file or screenshot can clarify things.

Compiler: GNU GCC 4.9.1
Compiled on: Sep 23 2016
Qt Version: 5.4.1
Boost Version: 1.60.0
System: Windows 7
i dont' know  what fonts can i use to write greek  words  in Mtext menu  i select greekc  fonts  and in
unicode window  i select greek extended
i try to insert  the  greek   word   "   ξενοφων " in       greek fonts  and the result is this in the picture
maybe i insert  something  wrong ?

I can't tell you the reason, but I have experimented a bit. I have found out I can write it by typing in, but the rhombs appear if I insert it (copied from your posting in greek letters) by pasting into the input box.
It might have to do something with the keyboard layout and mapping, or language setting in LibreCAD or your OS, but I am no guru on that.
I got some more success with greek_ol.



 

Hi, I was told that the link for greek fonts from post "greek fonts, large file from dwg to librecad"  is broken.
So, https://drive.google.com/open?id=1t7f173hwDCjZaAD96iS1jM7hxdyvDtj4 is my whole fonts directory. I don't have installed librecad for now, but i was informed by 'gkenis' that  unicode-mine & wqy-unicode fonts still works.

I'd say we can host the fonts, which aren't deployed, on our wiki. But we have to check the licenses first.
When the licenses are okay, we can also consider to deploy the missing fonts with installation packages.
