John in Ohio

jep1955
New LibreCAD user.  I used to do most of my 2D work in AutoCAD-LT (like 1997 version!) and that worked well.  I still have it, but have to run in a VM with Win2K to use it.  Hardly practical.

I also have a full AutoCAD license, but way overkill for the type of work I normally do (when I'm doing 2D architectural stuff).

I regularly use SolidWorks to do complex 3D solid part engineering.

Most of my LibreCAD usage is reverse engineering floorplans all the way up to recreating original drawings in CAD for buildings.  A few awkward things with LibreCAD, but overall, I like the package.
