LIBRECAD-INSTALLER-2.0.3

kendow
I have received an update to my recently loaded LibreCAD in the form of the following file: LibreCAD-Installer-2.0.3
No matter how I attempt to execute this file I receive a blue error screen "Windows Smartscreen prevented unauthorised.... etc."
Please advise how I should use this update.
OS: Windows 8.1 purchased Feb 2014

Hi Kendow

There should be an option to 'run anyway', in which case run the file.

in windows 8, they hide this option under a link which reads "More Info"

Many thanks for your responses. I didnt receive any options, but after receiving your suggestion I had 1 more attempt and it loaded immediately without the smartscreen interruption.(!@??!!)

I will look for the requirements of code signing for Windows installer to get rid of this warning.
Hopefully we can handle this before the next installer is released.

Thanks for your response.

we have a similar issue for osx.

I don't have an apple developer id, because a credit card is required to create one, together with personal info: date of birth , etc.
