LibreCAD 2 alpha release

Hello all,

I saw that alpha 1 of the new librecad 2.0.0 was released
(https://github.com/LibreCAD/LibreCAD/tags).

Is an official 1.0 release scheduled? This way we can put it up on
librecad.org and also get the distributions distributing it as well.

Hi Scott,

I guess, Ries is busy planning for the coming holiday season.

I'm pushing him to speed up 1.0.0 final release though. We got no blocker left, with all milestones achieved. The 2.0.0_alpha1 released was pushed out, because I do want to remind people about the existence of the development branch. Therefore, people won't be requesting new features against the 1.0.0 series.
