New to LibreCAD

Thank you for this wonderful CAD program.  I have used Bentley Microstation during my career as a civil engineer/surveyor.  When I retired I lost the rights to use Microstation.  This is such a great opportunity to use a free program that would cost thousand of dollars.  I use the program to design decks, woodworking project, or just to mess around(I have always loved drafting).

I'm totally new to CAD, though I did take some Mechanical Drawing classes (equal to Drafting 070, maybe, VERY basic stuff, but I enjoyed it) way back in Jr. H. S. and H. S., but that was eons ago.
