New user to LibreCAD

Hello all,
allow me to introduce myself: I'm Fred, origin Germany, used to an ooold version of ACAD LT (97) not running @ W10 any more.
I like LibreCAD and try to get familiar with this great app, but having problems to adopt some of my behaviors.
Maybe someone could get me a hint for how-to, either same way or other than in ACAD LT97.
