New...would like to use online via Chromebook

I am a teacher with 6th grade students that are issued Chromebooks. It would be great if they could learn Librecad but their opportunities at a desktop are very limited. I saw some forum entries from 5-years ago that brought the topic up but I wondered if anything has happened so that online is possible.

By the way, we use Openscad at the desktop for 3D design for printing and Blockscad3d on the Chromebooks as it is on a Openscad backbone despite the block interface.
