Newbie: OFFSET command not in Menu DRAW

SInce offsetting one or more entities can be seen as drawing, why not can the command OFFSET be found in the menu DRAW?

I know it works in the command line, but newbies like me are not so familiar with the command line, and do
prefer the mouse to select commands from a menu.

The 'Parallel' and parallel through point tool is effectively the same thing!
Main menu > Draw > Line > Parallel
It will work on Lines, circles, Polylines and Arcs even though it is at home in the line tools! which does seem a bit odd, I think really this needs looking at especially as you say typing ' offset ' in the command line highlights and selects this tool anyway.
