Preference Paths for 2 versions of Librecad on Windows

My problem was keeping ver 2.1.3 after installing ver 2.2.0 on Windows.  I couldn't set different Preferences Paths for each version.  After reading the various posts, it looks like Windows may be the problem because All Preferences are stored in the registry on Windows.

This plan looks like it would not allow multiple versions on Windows machines (if you didn't want the same Preferences).  I don't disagree, but this is not easy to figure out.  I didn't have "Windows" in my original question because I didn't know it was a factor.  Looks like that could be the answer to some other pending "Preferences" questions also.
