Reference Scale

larrangeur
I was wondering if it was possible to add an reference option in the scale fonction.

Very usefull for blueprints, you import an image, scale and draw a line on the blueprint, specify the final size and go !

Hope this function is useful for other people.

Thanks for your great work !

Re: Reference Scale

seems to be connected to "General factor" of the dimensions.

Could you described a detailed ideal use case? Just because you have more experience here.

The situation is the following :

You want to have a scaled blueprint in your drawing.

- Import the jpg blueprint (which has a scale or a distance on it)

- to scale the blue print, click on the begin point of your scale

- click on the end point (by point i mean somewhere on the picture, not a CAD point)

- type "1000" for exemple if your scale was 1 meter

- Voila ! Your blueprint is scaled

The point is to prevent you from calculating the scale factor
