Remove part of polyline according to another one

Hi and Happy new Year
Having 2 polylines as you see bellow


I want to achieve this result.


In order to do that, I add some note to yellow one, use the right entity tools and with drag and drop I put them on the red line. I was 5 nodes and in that case it was easy.
What if I had to do with 100 nodes ? Is there a faster way?
